Todd Brockman is a visionary entrepreneur and venture capitalist with a proven track record in intellectual property, technology, and blockchain innovation. As the Founder & CEO of NOVL, he is pioneering a new era in IP monetization, leveraging blockchain to empower inventors and creators. With a deep understanding of legal technology and decentralized finance, Brockman is at the forefront of transforming how intellectual property is protected, licensed, and commercialized.

Beyond NOVL, Brockman serves as Managing Director of Xperiential Group, an advisory firm focused on technology, IP, and live events. He was previously the Chairman and Co-Founder of XLIVE, which was acquired by Informa, and the Co-Founder of the Institute of Health Technology Transformation, later sold to Vendome Group. His expertise in IP strategy extends to his role in managing and spearheading the prosecution of the Onstream patent portfolio.

Brockman currently serves on the Board of Advisors for INK Games, Advisor to Xcyte Digital  and the Board of MCON, further solidifying his commitment to innovation at the intersection of Web3, intellectual property, and emerging markets.

A graduate of the University of Southern California, Brockman pursued further education at Harvard Business School’s Intellectual Property Program and earned an MBA in Healthcare Management from CSU. He also attended the Executive MBA program at Pepperdine University. He speaks both Japanese and Spanish, and brings a global perspective to the evolving world of IP, blockchain, and technology.

Beyond NOVL, Joel is a seasoned leader in blockchain, Web3, and community-driven projects. He is the Head of Community at MCON, an annual event celebrating the military and first responder community, and an advisor for $VHS Token, a nostalgia-driven Solana cryptocurrency, and $INK Token, the native asset of INKPAY, a P2P payment platform empowering creators with AI-driven monetization.

Previously, Joel applied his creative expertise as Director of Development at Xperiential.com, a cutting-edge platform redefining interactive experiences and intellectual property. Earlier in his career, he served as Chief Creative at ELEV8, a premier digital asset and cryptocurrency event, where he showcased his expertise in live events, Web3, and blockchain innovation.
